Our Commitment to Ethical Trading

Trading Bridge Ltd is committed to conducting business responsibly and expects equivalent standards from the manufacturers and suppliers within our supply chain.

Our approach is guided by internationally recognised ethical trading principles, including the principles of the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code.

 

Employment Standards

We expect employment to be freely chosen and do not accept forced, bonded or involuntary labour within our supply chain.

Child labour is prohibited and suppliers must comply with applicable minimum working age legislation.

Workers should be provided with safe and hygienic working conditions and treated fairly, respectfully and with dignity.

Discrimination, harassment, intimidation and abusive treatment are not acceptable.

Wages, benefits and working hours should comply with applicable local legislation and recognised industry standards.

Workers' lawful rights to freedom of association and collective representation should be respected.

 

Supplier Standards

Trading Bridge expects manufacturing partners to comply with applicable employment, health and safety, environmental and human rights legislation.

Where appropriate, Trading Bridge may request factory information, third-party social audits or recognised ethical compliance evidence such as SMETA, BSCI or equivalent standards.

 

Non-Compliance

Where ethical trading concerns are identified, Trading Bridge will work with the relevant supplier or manufacturing partner to investigate the issue and establish appropriate corrective actions.

Serious or unresolved violations may result in the supplier being suspended or removed from our approved supply chain.
